Although Arizona is a right to carry State, the Prescott Resort is on the lands (Reservation) of the Yavapai-Prescott Apache. As such these lands are designated by the Federal Government to be sovereign!
We have met with the Yavapai-Prescott Tribal Police Department regarding the security of firearms during our conference.
Basically, open carry or concealed carry (including all State CCWs and LEOSA - HR 218) is not allowed inside the hotel-casino. Weapons observed by hotel staff generate a call to the Tribal Police.
They have provided us with 2 options.
First, attendees may secure their firearms in the saddle bags of their bikes.
Second, you can secure your weapons inside the locked safe which is located inside each of your respective rooms.
